The Rev. Hugh Stevenson received his training at Marlborough College, Exeter University, and the University of Cambridge. He has served as a parish priest in his native England as well as in Hong Kong and the state of New York. He currently is the rector of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Kenwood, California. He and his wife Angela are the proud parents of two grown daughters.

Dr. James J. Rawls is a graduate of Stanford University and received his Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Berkeley. A licensed lay preacher in the Episcopal Church, he is the author or editor of more than two dozen books. He and his wife Linda are "empty nesters," having raised a son and a daughter, both of whom are now twenty-something. Jim's avocation is bird watching.
